My 2022 in bullet points

Time flies really fast. Another year is about to end and another year is starting to unfold. 2022 was hell of a rollercoaster ride but I wouldn't have it any other way. And if there is something that I learned this year, it is to be grateful for everything regardless of the circumstances. So this post is me looking back at how my life was for the past 12 months to remind me that there is so much to be grateful for.

January

Started the year still dealing with the aftermath of Typhoon Odette—no electricity, no internet, and with little to no water supply. Not much has happened but life goes on!

February

After four amazing years, I finally revamped my blog! So far, this template, albeit expensive, is the most beautiful template I've ever purchased.
Zayn got his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Achieved two first times—I travelled to Bukidnon and I finally experienced being a bridesmaid.

March

Zayn started his face-to-face classes for the first time in two years. He loved going to school and seeing his classmates.

April

Zayn and I had our first beach trip at Plantation Bay Resort and Spa.

May

Blogging projects, opportunities, and events came pouring in that my weekends were fully-booked. Super thankful to the brands and businesses for believing in me. ♡
I finally got inked! I had two tattoos done and both symbolize self-love.

June

I joined a HIIT competition together with my fellow bloggers and content creators and I won third place!
I celebrated my 30th birthday with people who matter to me. No extravagant or grandiose celebration, I opted to bask under the sun and enjoy the beach instead.
Created beautiful memories and enjoyed good food in Makati and Bonifacio Global City.

July

Zayn completed third grade with flying colors. Didn't expect it but I was so happy and proud of my little goof ball!
Second beach trip with Zayn, thanks to Shangri-La Mactan.
I rekindled my interest in running.

August

Travelled to the beautiful island of Boracay. It was my first time and definitely not the last time!

September

Achieved another two first times—I joined the 7-Eleven Run and joined the 10KM category. My goal was to finish the run in 1 hour and 15 minutes, but I finished it in 1 hour and 6 minutes. Good job, self!

October

I received an unexpected news. Off-Duty Mama was a Best Cebu Blogs Awards finalist in the Lifestyle/Style/Fashion category!
I won a 3D2N stay at a beautiful resort in Palawan! It was very unexpected but I was ecstatic!

November

More collaborations and event invites came in.
I joined a tree-growing activity for the very first time. I would love to do it again!
Another unexpected win—I attended the Philippine Airlines Bloggers' Night and I won a business class roundtrip ticket to Bangkok!!!

December

I signed an ambassadorship contract with an aesthetic clinic. Super grateful for the trust!
I did not win the Best Cebu Lifestyle/Style/Fashion Blog at the Best Cebu Blogs Awards but I won the PLDT Home Choice Award! Thank you, PLDT Home for believing in me and what I do.

So much has happened this year and I am thankful for every single thing that happened because it led me to where I am and what I am as of this writing. I have to say that 2022 is my best year so far despite the setbacks.

Now I am claiming that 2023 would be an even better year for me and I am so looking forward to embark on a new journey!
