I thought Zayn and I needed a breather so I booked us a quick weekend getaway to Plantation Bay Resort and Spa. Both of us haven't been there so it would somehow be a fresh experience for the both of us. For convenience, I booked the day trip vouchers through the Klook app.
Prior to our visit, I sent an e-mail to rsvns@plantationbay.com to reserve our schedule. Their reservations officer quickly confirmed our reservation and provided the resort's protocols and guidelines.
Plantation Bay Resort and Spa is huge and spacious and they're known to offer one of the largest privately-owned waterways in the world. There are so many things you can do and many corners to explore at Plantation Bay that honestly, one day wouldn't be enough. In fact, Zayn and I weren't able to explore the entire resort.
We made sure to enjoy the free water activities so Zayn and I did kayaking. We've done this a few times before so this isn't really new to us. In fact, Zayn loves kayaking so much. I also tried stand-up paddling, and although it was my first time, I had so much fun, too. I would definitely do it again.
Zayn enjoyed the resort that he was sad to go. But I promise this isn't the last time that we'll visit Plantation Bay Resort and Spa. The day trip package is definitely worth it.
Daytripper Adventure Package rates:
- Php 1,800 nett per person (Mondays to Fridays)
- Php 2,500 nett per person (Saturdays to Sundays, and holidays)
Daytripper Adventure Package inclusions:
- Plated lunch set during weekdays and lunch buffet during weekends and holidays
- Use of salwater lagoons, freshwater pools, and the beach
- 30-minute use of bicycles
- 15-minute use of non-motoried aqua sports facilities (stand-up paddle or kayak)
- Use of wall climbing, badminton, archery, pitch and putt, beach and water volleyball facilities at selected hours
Day trip is from 9AM - 5PM.
