The place was packed when we arrived, but we were seated right away, which already set a good tone since we had a lot of errands to do after. Their service was prompt and efficient that we just walked in, ate, paid the bill, and headed out without any stress.
We ordered a mix of their popular dishes. I got the omu rice with USDA Angus ribeye steak and I loved how tender the meat was. It was very easy to chew and perfectly cooked. The teriyaki chicken was for Zayn and he loved it too. I got to try a bite and the chicken was just as tender and flavorful. But personally, I felt both dishes could have had slightly bigger portions for the price.
We also tried their famous soufflé pancake, which honestly didn’t quite meet expectations. It leaned more toward a regular thick pancake rather than the soft, airy texture you’d expect. On the brighter side, the melon cream soda was fun and refreshing, while the iced yuzu tea was simple and light.
Overall, it was a smooth and satisfying lunch. Not everything wowed us, but the quality of the mains and the efficient service made it worth the visit. Will we be back? Actually, yes. :)
