Smooth and Bright Again: How My Underarm Laser Session Went at Lasera Skin Laser Center Cebu

I've been skipping my underarm laser session because of my crazy schedule but when I received an email to collaborate with a laser center, I instantly said yes. I said yes partly because it’s been nearly a year since my last underarm laser hair removal treatment and because I was starting to see some dark spots and my whitening gels did not help. So I decided it was time: underarm hair laser removal and underarm laser whitening at Lasera Skin Laser Center.


Lasera is located at the 3rd floor of Ayala Center Cebu. Stepping in, I can say that their clinic feels really clean, fresh, and safe. Their staff greeted my nicely, too. Compared to the other skin service clinics I've been, I really appreciate that Lasera has a separate prep room for customers to fix their selves up, especially after a facial session where your hair can get rowdy.

Treatment Room

Lasera’s treatment room is spacious and neat. You can really tell how much they value hygiene and client comfort because everything looked and felt fresh, from the crisp sheets to the neatly arranged equipment. It’s the kind of place where you can just relax and trust that you’re in good hands.





First, we started with underarm laser hair removal. Since I’m no beginner to laser hair removal, I don’t have a lot of hair left to remove, so this session was more of a maintenance treatment just to keep things smooth and tidy.

To those who have no experience with this treatment yet, I assure you that it's painless. They use gentle pulses and though there will be a slight pricking sensation, it's definitely not bad. Once you start with laser hair removal, there's no turning back to shaving and waxing because the results are just way, way, way better. Trust me.



After the laser hair removal, we moved on to the underarm laser whitening. This treatment targets pigmentation to even out the skin's tone. They first applied a thin layer of carbon gel, which helps the laser absorb better and break down dark spots more effectively. The laser for whitening was a bit different, I could feel a mild warmth and the usual pricking sensation, but definitely not painful.

Post-Treatment

This is how my underarm looks after the treatment. The dark spots are not totally gone yet but definitely lighter. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be watching for more change. But I definitely need more sessions for the spots to completely fade and my skin tone to even out. But actually, with just one session in, I still feel confident lifting my arms or wearing sleeveless tops without worrying.
