How I missed doing this! I admit I'm no pro in skincare and beauty reviews but I missed sharing real experiences with the skincare products that I have been trying. So for today's skincare test, I'll be talking about a few products from Fresh Philippines. This Filipino brand offering affordable Korean-value skincare and personal products totally caught my attention. They have several product ranges but what I will be sharing to you today is their Tomato Glass Skin range.
The products I've tested are the Fresh Beauty Check Skincare Starter Set, the Fresh Tomato Glass Skin Soothing Gel Lotion, and the Fresh Tomato Glass Skin Bye Wrinkles Eye Serum Gel. I bought all these from the official Shopee store of Fresh Philippines. The delivery took a while but fortunately, there were no damages or leakages in my package because it was perfectly and safely wrapped.
The Skincare Starter Set consists of four products: Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser, Hydrating Toner, Booster Serum, and Hyaluronic Water Drop Cream. The set costs around Php 1000, which is a really good deal instead of buying each product separately.
Fresh Tomato Glass Skin Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser - Php 249

Review:
I got used to gel and cream cleansers so this is my first time to use a foaming cleanser. As you can see in the preceding photo, the cleanser is in a liquid form but pumping it out of the bottle produces a huge chunk of foam. I got curious how it's going to clean the skin because I assumed a foam that's super light and airy can only do so much. I use three full pumps of this product every time I wash my face. What I love about this cleanser is it's mild and gentle. It doesn't sting and does not leave my skin tight and dry. But what I didn't like about this cleanser is it doesn't make me feel like it cleaned my face enough. It leaves a silky-like feeling which makes me iffy about it. If you wear makeup, double cleansing is a must because this cleanser won't be enough, I believe.
Fresh Tomato Glass Skin pH 5.5 Hydrating Toner - Php 229

- Ascorbic Acid—Helps lighten dark spots, boosts collagen production, evens out skin tone, and enhances skin radiance
Review:
After cleansing, I apply this toner using a cotton pad. The consistency of this toner is watery, just like most toners. This toner is meant to remove excess dirt, balance the pH level of the skin, tighten pores, make skin smoother, and make skin look naturally healthy and glowing. It's very mild and gentle and does not cause a stinging feeling during application. I actually like this toner because my skin feels refreshed and moisturized instantly after application.
Fresh Tomato Glass Skin Booster Serum - Php 399
Key ingredients:

- Arbutin—Helps even out skintone and reduces levels of dark pigmentations
- Glycolic Acid—Helps dissolve dead skin cells and clear up blocked pores and blackheads
- Glutathione—Helps lower melanin production, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and improves overall skin elasticity
- Hyaluronic Acid—Helps increase skin moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Review:
This serum has the same consistency with the toner. I use two pumps and lightly spread it all over my face. It's very easy to apply and gets absorbed quickly. I didn't see any significant results after using up the entire bottle.
Fresh Tomato Glass Skin Bye Wrinkles Eye Serum Gel - Php 229

Review:
Fine lines are slowly becoming evident under my eyes that is why I bought this eye serum gel separately. The product is in a typical roll-on bottle. It's meant to brighten the under eye area and help reduce the appearance of fine lines. There were no significant results aside from making my under eye area moisturized.
Fresh Tomato Glass Skin Hyaluronic Water Drop Cream - Php 239

- Hyaluronic Acid—Helps increase skin moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Review:
This water drop cream is new to me because of its unique formulation. Squeezing out the product gives you a matte-looking and opaque cream but once you spread it out on your face, it dissolves into a watery essence. Which, for me, is really good since my oily combination skin hates heavy creams. The formulation of this water drop cream makes it easier and faster to be absorbed since it's very light on the skin. I only use this water drop cream every morning after the serum and before the sunscreen.

- Hyaluronic Acid—Helps increase skin moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Review:
This was the product that I was most curious about. I've been an avid aloe vera soothing gel user and I thought it was time to try something new. This has a thicker consistency since it's a lotion. I store this inside the fridge to add an extra cooling effect whenever I use it. I use this as a sleeping mask at the last step of my nighttime routine. I scoop an ample amount and spread it all over my face and neck. Since its consistency is thicker than the usual soothing gels, it takes more time to be absorbed by the skin. This soothing gel lotion gives me a slight stinging sensation upon application but it gradually goes away.What I love about this soothing gel lotion is it gives me a bright and glowing face the next day. What I don't like about this is the packaging. First, it has no scooper so you'll have to use your own if you have one or a clean spoon if you don't. Using a scooper rather than scooping the product with your own hands prevents bacterial contamination. Lastly, I hated the lid of the tub packaging because it doesn't close or lock properly and may also cause bacterial contamination. And if you don't handle it with care, the tub might cause spillage and might break as well.
Below was my morning and nighttime routine for the entire duration of testing Fresh Tomato Glass Skin products. I was not able to get my hands on their sun gel because it was sold out at the time so I used a different sunscreen instead.

OVERALL REVIEW:
Theese products are promising considering that they're affordable. The cleanser was not very cost-effective though because I ran out of it a week before I reached my 30-day mark and so I had to buy another bottle. I used it day and night so that pretty much explains how fast I finished up the bottle. I also noticed that all these products I tried have exactly the same scent. And although it's mild and pleasant—at least for me—people who don't like fragrances in their skincare products might not like it.Will I repurchase? I don't think I will except for the Fresh Tomato Glass Skin Soothing Gel Lotion. It's the only product that I actually liked the most except for its packaging issues.
