Weekend Trip to Crocolandia in Talisay City

While malls, restaurants, and other indoor establishments currently do not allow kids, I am glad that outdoor venues such as resorts and zoos do. I know that travelling with kids during this time is risky which is why I always choose to go to places that are least likely to be crowded. And Crocolandia in Talisay City is one.

I can't recall if I have ever set foot on Crocolandia when I was kid so a trip there with my family was a breath of fresh air. We went there on a Saturday afternoon. At the entrance, typical new normal regulations such as temperature checking, filling out of contact tracing forms, and disinfecting were observed. Entrance fee is Php 200 for adults and Php 150 for kids.

We arrived at Crocolandia a little before 4PM and the front staff informed us to head straight to the crocodile ponds to witness the crocodile feeding. And right on time, when we arrived at the pond, the feeding was about to start. It was somehow an amazing sight to see a crocodile eat a whole chicken.

It's named Crocolandia, obviously, because it houses numerous crocodiles. But aside from crocodiles, they also have other animals such as peacocks, different species of lizards, birds, snakes, and so much more.
