It was around three years ago when I first heard about the famous ice cream brand, Dairy Queen. People were all talking about how their ice cream is served upside down. So when I went to a trip to Manila last April 2016, I was so fortunate because a colleague treated me to a cup of Dairy Queen Ice Cream and I instantly fell in love with it. On September 2017, I was given the opportunity to travel back to Manila for a dining forum and I didn't waste the chance so I made sure to give myself a second cup of Dairy Queen Ice Cream and it was still the same ice cream that I fell in love with the year before. Then last November 2018, I heard an amazing news that they will finally be bringing in the famous Blizzard treat here in Cebu and guess who was overjoyed? Of course, me! Plus I was given the opportunity to attend the special preview of their SM City Cebu branch and grand opening of the Ayala Cebu branch.
The special preview of Dairy Queen's SM City Cebu branch was held last November 2018 and I was very fortunate to be one of the Cebu bloggers who got invited to this event. I was so happy that finally Cebu can now savor in DQ's all-time favorite flavors of soft serve blends like the famous DQ Blizzard with a wide range of flavors such as Oreo, Chocolate Almond, and Brownie Temptation. As you all know, it was the Blizzard that people talked most about because it is always served upside down! This unique tradition is the brand's affirmation of giving their customers the quality treat they deserve – consistently thick and packed with flavors.

Aside from the famous Blizzard, Dairy Queen Cebu also carry other signature soft serve products such as DQ Sandwich, Sundae, Dilly Bar, and DQ Sundae Cone. More Dairy Queen cold delights like Frappes, Shakes, Banana Split and Ice Cream cakes, made of 100% soft serve ice cream, are available as well. Zayn, my family, and I got to try the DQ Sandwich and I swear, all of us loved it! I got us a box of DQ Sandwich and everything was eaten right after opening the box. Haha!
