The rainy season is here and I'm just glad that despite the very busy schedule at work and preparations for Zayn's milestone (he's now in nursery school!), I was able to experience the last of summer season with my friends and colleagues. It was months ago since we had this summer-ender planned and finally everything went as planned at Maonanik Beach Resort in Badian, Cebu. It was a weekend full of fun, activities, and bonding moments with the team (except for me because my hyperacidity and LBM came in at a perfect timing!) especially that we had the resort all to ourselves.
As we were a big team plus some of us wanted to bring their families and partners (like me), looking for a huge place for all of us has always been a pain in the ass. I found Maonanik Beach Resort on Facebook and knowing that it was a private resort and we can rent it over the weekend for exclusive use, we had it immediately reserved for the dates we planned. The resort is located near Kawasan Falls in Matutinao, Badian, Cebu. It's a beachfront resort and has a swimming pool.
Maonanik Beach Resort has three rooms that can accommodate a maximum of 30 people. All three are air-conditioned and are good for six people each. If you don't care much about sharing a bed, up to 8 people can fit. Each room has extra mattresses, too. The resort is equipped with kitchen tools, utensils, and drinking water. There are no corkage fees for the food and drinks that you'll bring. You can also ask their very kind caretaker, Ate Liza to help with the cooking. She helped us grill fish and pork for our dinner and cooked our breakfast.
Despite my unfortunate toilet situation (TMI!), I did enjoy our stay at Maonanik Beach Resort.
